The Burris FastFire 3 is Burris' best selling red dot sight. It is available in either 3 MOA or 8 MOA dot models. Light and tough, the FastFire 3 series provides a bright red dot on your target to give you an immediate target for speed and accuracy. The FastFire 3 from Burris can be used either as a primary sight or paired on top of an existing sight.
The FastFire 3 has an automatic brightness sensor that adjusts brightness to match the environmental conditions. It also has 3 manual brightness settings. The battery access is conveniently located on the top of the red dot sight. It also has a convenient automatic time-out feature after 8 hours to help extend battery last up to 5 years.
It is available with Picatinny/Weaver mount for mounting on rifles, handguns and tactical shotguns. It is sold with or without a mount, which allows you to match it with the perfect mount for your use.
The 8 MOA dot is more popular among short range shooters, especially coupled on handguns or shotguns. The larger dot makes target acquisition quicker. The 3 MOA dot is most popular mounting on rifles, or anyone wanting more pin-point accuracy, as the smaller dot covers far less of the overall target area.
